Effect

Tar Shot lowers the target's Speed stat by one stage and doubles the effectiveness of Fire-type moves used on the target. Tar Shot will not double the effectiveness of Fire-type moves used on a target that is already under the effect of Tar Shot (but may still lower its Speed). The increased vulnerability to Fire-type attacks does not affect a Pokémon that is Terastallized, however if a Pokémon already affected by the increased vulnerability Terastallizes, the effect will remain.

Description

Games Description SwShLA SV The user pours sticky tar over the target, lowering the target's Speed stat. The target becomes weaker to Fire-type moves. BDSP This move can’t be used. It’s recommended that this move is forgotten. Once forgotten, this move can’t be remembered.
